"If the late Erma Bombeck had married Bill Cosby, Lisa Espinoza would have been their love child...Erma did not marry Bill, but Days of Whine and Noses is still the best thing that can happen to a harried mom."

Days of Whine and Noses-Pep Talks for Tuckered Out Moms

Somewhere along the way I had an epiphany. The ordinary experiences of my mothering were a treasure trove of extraordinary life lessons! That, plus the fact that writing is so much cheaper than therapy, motivated me to pen Days of Whine and Noses.

Each of the book's bite-sized chapters (perfect for a quick trip to the bathroom while the kids poke their fingers underneath the door) contains funny stories and observations about the everyday experiences of motherhood such as breastfeeding, teething, potty training, family pets and car trips with kids. These culminate into unexpected insight that will leave you saying, "Wow, I never thought I could learn THAT from snot and potty training!"

In the midst of the dailiness of mothering, Days of Whine and Noses will point you toward deep and profound meaning that I believe will help to guide and sustain you as you fulfill the most significant role of your life. And I think you'll laugh a lot.

Check out a chapter from Days of Whine and Noses..."On Potty Training."

The Guilt-Free Mom-Friendly Days of Whine and Noses Journal

For some of us, journaling feels like an overwhelming chore or an obligation we must fulfill in order to be a good mother as well as a woman of substance and depth. I'm all for depth and substance, but when it comes to the physical action of using my fingers to push a pen across a page, something within me comes to a swift and complete halt. I’m not a fan of pen-to-paper writing. It makes me tired.

However, I AM a fan of cherishing the priceless sayings and doings of my kids as well as recording my own highs, lows and in-betweens on this journey. I need little nudges along the way but not too much structure. With this in mind, I developed The Guilt-Free Mom-Friendly Days of Whine and Noses Journal. I include my own story of overcoming "journal-phobia" as well as practical tips on how you too can conquer your fear and be well on your way to creating a treasury of motherhood memories and womanly musings.

Doin' What We're Made 2 Do-Teaching Kids About Worship

"Children are natural-born worshippers, easily connecting to the spiritual person they were created to be. Doin' What We're Made 2 Do: Teaching Kids About Worship helps them identify this special God-given ability, equipping them with the understanding necessary to worship freely as an adult."

                                        Johanna Townsend

                                        Founder For Kids Only

We are so excited to be able to offer you the Doin' What We're Made 2 Do workbook! I wrote the curriculum for Doin' What We're Made 2 Do together with two of my friends, Kristin Orphan and Stacey Robbins---both incredibly talented singers, writers, musicians, worship leaders and MOMS! The Doin' What We're Made 2 Do workbook is a fun, practical, Biblically based resource for helping your child build a strong faith foundation.

Three fundamental questions lie at the heart of the Doin' What We're Made 2 Do workbook:

Who is God?
Why do we worship Him?
How do we worship Him?

Within the framework of these questions, your child will learn about God as Creator, Savior, Father, and Friend. Take a look at the sample chapter entitled "How Do We Worship God Our Creator?".

"Doin' What We're Made 2 Do is a fun and energetic tool I use to teach 4- and 5-year- olds truths about worship. The kids enjoy the high energy songs. They easily learn the lyrics and like to sing and dance to the CD."

                                        Donna Mantei
                                        Junior Kindergarten teacher

The Doin' What We're Made 2 Do workbook was designed as a companion for the Doin' What We're Made 2 Do: Worship for Kids album. This album features almost an hour of music---songs from silly  to reflective. Each song corresponds with a lesson in the workbook and was written specifically to reinforce and help kids remember the concepts they’ve learned. Find out more and listen to song clips!

The Doin' What We're Made 2 Do workbook/CD package serves as a valuable spiritual formation tool in the life of your child. Plus, it's just plain FUN!
